* Gossip: 어찌 보면... 한편으로는 그냥 단순한 영화/드라마의 소품일 수 있지만,
영화 속 등장인물의 character building/developing의 효과적인 수단이기도 하고,
책의 주제/내용 통해 작가의 의도/메시지 등 전하는 easter egg, hidden message
등의 역할을 하기 때문에... 종종 영화, 드라마의 등장인물이 읽은 책이 관심 받음.
특히, 인종문제나 그런 것과 얽혀서... 미국에서는 이전부터 이퀄라이저에서 보인
책/도서목록이 몇몇 posting의 내용이 되곤 했는데... 아래에 잘 정리된 링크 있음.
(그런데... 아무리 찾아봐도... 제대로 된 도서목록은 아직 그럴듯한 것을 찾지 못함.)
기회 되면... 인상 깊은 영화와 그 속의 책들에 대해서 훑어보는 것도 재미있을 듯.
개인적으로 이 영화에서는 1편에선 인물 설명 & 분위기, 2편에선 약간 메시지 느낌?
(여러모로 그럴듯하지만... 주연을 맡은 댄젤과 주인공의 싱크로율이 더 그럴듯함.
그러니까, 여기서는... 책보다는 주연을 주인공으로 쓴 것이 더 큰 설득력 발휘???
어쨌튼, 책들의 제목이나 내용을 생각해보면... 나름 작가가 신경 쓴 것 짐작 가능.)

In the Equalizer, Robert reads 3 books about a fisherman who won’t let go of a fish, a knight in modern day and an invisible man. All of these stories relate to the movie, how he wouldn’t let go about the girl getting beaten, he would be a knight to her and finally that he does it and no one knows
